Job Summary
Provide high-acuity private duty nursing care to patients in Harlingen and surrounding areas, utilizing Aveanna's tablet-based electronic documentation system. Deliver compassionate homecare for children and adults while maintaining an active, unencumbered LPN/LVN license and current CPR certification. Ensure patient safety and clinical outcomes through reliable transportation and adherence to all health-related requirements for Medicare and Medicaid patients. This role offers flexible full-time, part-time, or PRN scheduling with options for days, nights, and weekends, supported by 24/7 local clinical assistance and a culture emphasizing work-life balance.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered license (LPN/LVN) in the state in which the clinician will practice
- Compact licenses must be transferred to your state of residence within 90 days
- Current CPR certification (with hands-on component)
- TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
- Reliable transportation
- Compliance with all health-related requirements in all relevant jurisdictions, including required vaccinations and testing, subject to exemptions for medical or religious reasons
Desired Qualifications
- Six months prior hands-on nursing experience
