Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) providing skilled nursing care in home health under RN supervision. Responsibilities include delivering and coordinating quality patient care per physician orders, updating and implementing the nursing care plan, documenting nursing actions and patient responses, infection control per OSHA standards, and educating patients and families on disease processes, self-care techniques, and prevention strategies. Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, active state license, CPR certification, and ability to travel; 6 months' nursing experience preferred; strong attention to detail, time management, and communication skills. Positions available for nights with flexible scheduling across full-time, part-time, or PRN shifts in North Austin, Georgetown, Round Rock, Pflugerville and surrounding areas.
Required Qualifications
- Must have and maintain an active, unencumbered license (LPN/LVN) in the state in which the clinician will practice
- Compact licenses must be transferred to your state of residence within 90 days
- Current CPR certification (with hands-on component)
- TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
- Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required
- Must have reliable transportation
Additional Requirements
- South Carolina – One (1) year of pediatrics experience
- California – One (1) year of experience required working under current nursing license
- Louisiana – One (1) year of experience required working as a licensed nurse
- Continuing Education as required by state
