Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) providing and documenting skilled nursing care in patients’ homes under the supervision of an RN, following each patient’s care plan and physician orders. Responsibilities include observing and assessing patient conditions, documenting nursing actions and changes, participating in care-plan updates, delivering care per orders, educating patients and families, maintaining infection-control standards, and traveling to patient homes across North Austin, Georgetown, Round Rock, Pflugerville, and surrounding areas. Must hold an active LPN/LVN license, CPR, and meet state-specific requirements; preferred pediatric experience depending on state, with flexibility for full-time, part-time, or PRN schedules.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered LPN/LVN license in the state of practice
- Current CPR certification
- TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
- Six months hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required
- Reliable transportation
Additional Requirements
- South Carolina – One (1) year of pediatrics experience
- California – One (1) year of experience required working under current nursing license
- Louisiana – One (1) year of experience required working as a licensed nurse
- Continuing Education as required by state
