Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) sought for private duty home-health nursing in TX (Austin area) with night shifts available. Provide and document skilled nursing care under RN supervision according to care plans and physician orders; observe and assess patient needs, update care plans, document nursing actions and responses, and coordinate with the care team. Responsibilities include infection-control practices, patient and family education, and adherence to state and federal regulations. Must hold an active LPN/LVN license, CPR certification, and TB testing current. Travel to patient homes required. Flexible scheduling includes full-time, part-time, or PRN opportunities with nights and weekends as needed. Experience in home health and recent clinical experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Active LPN/LVN license in the practicing state
- Current CPR certification
- TB skin test current within last 12 months
- Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required
- Reliable transportation
