Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) providing skilled nursing care in patients' homes under RN supervision. Responsibilities include delivering and coordinating care per physician orders, updating nursing care plans, documenting assessments and actions, educating patients and families, complying with professional standards and regulations, and maintaining infection-control practices. Roles may include day, night, or weekend shifts with flexible scheduling and opportunities for skill advancement. Must hold active LPN/LVN license and CPR certification; travel to patients in Elgin, North Austin, Georgetown, surrounding areas, or Travis County. Experience in pediatrics or home health is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current, unrestricted state license as an LPN/LVN in the practicing state
- Current CPR certification
- TB skin test current within last 12 months
- Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required
- Must have reliable transportation
- Home health experience preferred
