Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) position with Aveanna Private Duty Home Health. Provide and document skilled nursing care in patients' homes under RN supervision per care plans and physician orders. Responsibilities include delivering quality patient care, assessing patient needs, updating the nursing care plan, documenting actions and coordination of care, infection control per OSHA standards, patient and family education, and maintaining compliance with policies and state/federal regulations. Requires active LPN/LVN license in the practicing state, CPR certification, ability to travel to patient homes, and clinical documentation and communication skills. Flexible scheduling available (days/nights/Weekend) with part-time or PRN status and potential for compensation via weekly/daily pay. Location options in South Austin, Kyle, Buda, San Marcos, New Braunfels, TX; travel may be involved.
Required Qualifications
- Must have and maintain an active, unencumbered license (LPN/LVN) in the state in which the clinician will practice
- Compact licenses must be transferred to your state of residence within 90 days
- Current CPR certification (with hands-on component)
- TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
- Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required
- Must have reliable transportation
