Job Summary
Licensed Practical/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) provides in-home patient care for Aveanna clients across days, nights, and weekends with flexible scheduling. Responsibilities include delivering high-quality nursing care in patients' homes, maintaining electronic documentation via Aveanna tablet, and ensuring compliance with CPR certification, TB testing, and state licensure requirements. Requires active LPN/LVN license in the practice state, potential transfer of compact licenses, and reliable transportation; care coordination with the clinical team to achieve positive clinical outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered LPN/LVN license in the practicing state
- Compact licenses must be transferred to state of residence within 90 days
- Current CPR certification (hands-on component)
- TB skin test current within last 12 months
- Six months hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required
- Reliable transportation
