Job Summary
Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) in private-duty pediatric home care with G-tube needs. In-home nursing in the Port Charlotte area with a child patient; shifts include days, nights, and weekends, and schedules may be full-time, part-time, or PRN. The role requires an active LPN/LVN license, CPR certification, and TB test within the last year; compact licenses must be transferred within 90 days. Electronic documentation is performed via a tablet in the patient’s home. Training and career pathing are offered; competitive pay with weekly or daily option and benefits eligibility. Must have reliable transportation and be able to work with pediatric homecare patients in a home setting.
Required Qualifications
- Must have and maintain an active, unencumbered LPN/LVN license in the state of practice
- Compact licenses must be transferred to your state of residence within 90 days
- Current CPR certification (hands-on component)
- TB skin test current within last 12 months
- Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required
- Must have reliable transportation
