Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) with weekend shifts in private-duty home healthcare. Provide and document skilled nursing care under RN supervision in accordance with care plans and physician orders; maintain confidentiality and professionalism; deliver infection control and patient education; participate in ongoing education and documentation; meet state licensure requirements and state-specific prerequisites (e.g., pediatric experience where indicated). Strong emphasis on accurate documentation, coordination with the care team, and ability to travel to patient homes. Candidates must have an active LPN/LVN license, CPR certification, and pass TB screening; nursing duties include assessment, coordination of care, and adherence to regulatory and organizational policies.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current, unrestricted state LPN/LVN license
- Current CPR certification
- TB skin test (within last 12 months)
- Six months of pediatric experience preferred
- Compact licenses must be transferred to state of residence within 90 days
- Ability to travel
