Job Summary
Develop features and parametrize functionalities in the Avaloq Wealth Management and Banking Systems using PL/SQL and Avaloq Script. Analyze customer requirements, design new functionalities, and extend standard customizations while maintaining existing codebases. Collaborate with business analysis and architecture teams on specifications, develop automated tests, and update technical documentation. Provide technical support for customer projects involving new implementations and upgrades of the Avaloq Banking Suite. Work within an Agile environment with a global team, supporting the development center in Manila.
Required Qualifications
- Experienced in Avaloq software development and product implementation
- Extensive experience in PL/SQL programming
- Knowledge of Oracle objects like functions, procedures, packages, collection etc
- University degree in computer science or equivalent
- Fluent English
- Open minded and squad oriented
- Experience in working with Agile methodologies
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of relational database systems (Oracle, PL/SQL) is a strong benefit
- Knowledge of reporting tool e.g. Crystal Report, Actuate, Quadient will be advantageous
- Previous experience on front end software development (e.g. .Net, Java, Web Programming) will be advantageous
- Knowledge of customer reports development is an advantage
- Experience in development of banking applications like Finacle, Flexcube, TCS Bancs, Temenos is an advantage
- Experience in development of complex applications is an advantage
- Previous working experience in one of the functional areas of banking domain like Tax, Legal Reporting, CRM, Payment, Security, client reporting and output management, Identity access management, Cost & Fee – will be added advantage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Other European languages are a plus
- ACCP certification
