Job Summary
Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end automated test suites and frameworks using Playwright to ensure application quality and reliability. Build scalable, maintainable automation frameworks with reusable components, perform functional, regression, and integration testing, and develop REST API tests using Postman. Translate requirements into automated test cases, identify and verify defects, and partner with developers and product managers to define test strategies and resolve issues. Mentor team members on automation best practices, improve test stability and execution speed, and communicate quality risks to stakeholders. This senior-level role requires strong Playwright expertise, JavaScript/TypeScript proficiency, and 5+ years in QA automation.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance/test automation
- Strong, hands-on expertise with Playwright for UI automation
- Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
- Strong experience with REST API testing and validating RESTful services
- Proven experience designing and maintain scalable, reusable automation frameworks
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies and the software testing lifecycle
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Strong debugging skills, including diagnosing flaky or timing-dependent UI test
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Git and standard version-control and code-review products
