Job Summary
IT Intern to support IT team with help desk operations, hardware/software troubleshooting, and IT systems; responsibilities include providing first-level technical support, responding to help desk requests, diagnosing basic issues, assisting with installation/configuration/maintenance of hardware and software, troubleshooting connectivity, documenting issues and resolutions, user account setup and access requests, supporting IT inventory and training materials, and participating in testing system updates with exposure to Windows environments and ERP systems (Prophet 21). The role emphasizes hands-on IT support, end-user assistance, ticketing system usage, and a learning-focused environment in a fast-paced setting.
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and operating systems
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
