Job Summary
Provide vital support to Campus Enterprises and NC State Dining by delivering an excellent dining experience for all guests. Duties include creating equipment pulls from stock, counting items for accuracy, updating Short Sheets, maintaining organized facilities and storage (including loading dock to china room and 3rd-floor storage), organizing china room, labeling equipment, aiding in catering equipment inventory, performing minor housekeeping, upholding professional conduct, working special events, and adhering to Campus Enterprises/Rave! Catering student employee policies. Requires current NC State student with a flexible schedule, ability to work in a fast-paced team environment, and lifting up to 40 pounds. Training and growth opportunities with potential raises and promotions are available.
Required Qualifications
- Current NC State University student
- Flexible schedule to accommodate class schedule
- Willingness to handle and serve all types of food (including meat products)
- Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions and recipes
- Ability to work with a team and effectively communicate
- Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
- Must attend mandatory student employee orientation and training sessions
