Job Summary
Support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live independently by modeling social skills, assisting with daily living tasks, and providing life skills training in employment and money management. Administer medication, perform bathing and hygiene, offer basic first aid, and manage shopping, meal preparation, transportation, budgeting, housekeeping, and home maintenance. Use effective teaching techniques to help participants learn new skills, achieve goals, and find recreational activities while accurately reporting health and safety concerns. This entry-level role offers swing shifts from 3:00 pm to midnight and graveyard shifts from 12:00 am to 9:00 am, with pay starting at $15/hr. Full-time employees receive health insurance and special online training.
