General Warehouse role responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials within the warehouse with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness. Responsibilities include assisting in shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching documents to freight, processing paperwork, reading orders to determine items to move, relocating materials to shipping or designated areas, organizing items by item number/SKU/lot codes, ensuring a safe, orderly warehouse for sales and customers, assembling customer orders, labeling materials, recycling excess cardboard, recording material transactions in a computer system, assisting with inventory counts, and performing basic facilities maintenance as needed. Requires ability to operate standard warehouse equipment (hand trucks, box cutters, tape dispensers) and electrified pallet jacks or forklifts; adherence to safety protocols and proper use of safety equipment. Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, lifting 10–50 pounds regularly, up to 75 pounds occasionally, with vision requirements. Travel between Kennesaw and Acworth facilities may be required. Education: High school diploma or GED, or equivalent years of experience. Preferred: one year of warehouse clerk experience.
