Job Summary
Coordinate AV equipment reservations and manage inventory for laptops used by students, faculty, and staff across campus and off-site locations. Set up, strike, and operate presentation, recording, and streaming equipment while assisting with virtual events and poster production services. Capture, edit, and catalogue video footage for distribution, then train users on AV systems and troubleshoot technology issues. Conduct annual equipment inventory and support front-office operations via phone, email, and in-person assistance. Work regular evenings and weekends as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree
- 2 years or more experience in Communications, Audio/Video Technology and Video Production
- Knowledge of AV equipment
- hands-on experience in AV set-ups involving laptops, projectors, display resolutions, audio recording, sound mixing, wired and wireless microphones
- Ability to successfully troubleshoot computer hardware, software, operating system, and peripheral issues
- Experience using Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Customer service driven
- strong written and verbal communication skills

- ability to adapt quickly to situations as they arise
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lift and transport objects weighing up to 50lbs
- ability to work regular evenings and weekends as assigned
