AV Technician II

AV Technician II responsible for setting up, testing, programming and commissioning AV equipment (microphones, speakers, displays, projectors, video monitors, control systems, recording equipment) for customer facilities. Works under AV service manager and team to ensure safe, professional installations at customer sites, with potential day, night, and weekend shifts based on project needs. Responsibilities include installing and wiring equipment, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, testing and resolving equipment issues, programming audio processors and control systems, configuring networks/switches, collaborating with team members, safely shipping equipment, maintaining inventory and certifications, and staying current with vendor/industry products. Requires 2-3 years in a technical field (preferred 3+ years AV field experience), Crestron/Extron product knowledge, basic electrical wiring knowledge, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and related software.
