Job Summary
Residential AV Technician responsible for installing and integrating high-end AV, lighting, shading, automation, and network systems in luxury homes. Lead and coordinate on-site activities, troubleshoot and commission systems end-to-end, build equipment racks and dress cables, and train clients on system operation. Requires independent on-site work, strong communication with project managers and clients, and the ability to manage scope, schedule, and materials changes. Must have Savant and Lutron software experience; Crestron and ELK experience are pluses. Travel to off-site locations (primarily local, up to 3.5 hours away, with occasional overnight) and a valid driver's license with reliable vehicle are required. Competitive hourly pay in the $32–$40 range, with typical Monday–Friday hours and occasional overnight stays, plus comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- 4 years of residential experience installing and integrating high-end AV equipment, including active troubleshooting and commissioning
- Travel to off-site locations (up to 3.5 hours away, with occasional overnight stays)
- Valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and reliable personal vehicle
- Savant and Lutron software experience required
- ELK security systems experience a plus
- Crestron experience a plus
