Job Summary
Administer, configure, and maintain AV systems for conference rooms, auditoriums, and the Atrium, including VTC infrastructure, codecs, and Multi-Domain Video Network Switches. Troubleshoot and resolve AV issues in collaboration spaces while monitoring performance to detect incidents and report degradations per policy. Schedule and coordinate multiple simultaneous VTC sessions using a centralized system, and guide authorized users on equipment operation before events. Provide on-site end-user support for mission-critical systems and facilitate GO/FO/SES attended events. Requires Top Secret clearance with SCI access, Security+ certification, and 2+ years of AV support experience. Full-time role at Offutt AFB for the U.S. Air Force Strategic Command.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years experience supporting AV and VTC systems
- Security+ CE certified
- VTC endpoint operations (Secure/Unsecure) – conference room systems
- VTC infrastructure knowledge (MCU, Gatekeepers, Gateways, Crypto equipment)
- basic knowledge of Internet Protocol (IP)/Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN) networks (High speed serial circuits) pertaining VTCs
- video touting (matrix switching, system flow knowledge)
- audio system knowledge (digital signal processor knowledge)
- AV room control systems utilizing multiple security classification (Secret, Top Secret, Top Secret/SCI) for a military operational environment utilizing AMX/Crestron or equivalent touch screen controllers
- Experience in complex AV display and distribution systems with multiple security classifications (Secret, Top Secret, Top Secret/SCI), utilizing high definition displays and AV Switches to route AV sources to local and remote displays
- Able to support customers through remote facilitation tools
