Job Summary
Partner with sales account teams to identify, develop, and close client opportunities while leading pre-sales discussions to define customer requirements for AV and data center solutions. Translate these needs into comprehensive functional system designs, create block diagrams, and develop client proposals incorporating tailored solution architectures. Review pre-construction designs for accuracy, assist with technical design development and pricing, and provide detailed material and labor estimates to support accurate quoting. Serve as a technical liaison for engineering inquiries and deliver technology updates to support account executives. Obtain and maintain required vendor and manufacturer certifications. This role supports revenue growth for Golden Star Technology Inc., a leading provider of IT and audiovisual solutions serving small businesses, enterprises, and government agencies nationwide.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, information technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience
- 3-5 years of experience in the audiovisual industry
- Demonstrated AV system design experience
- Advanced computer skills related to the design, configuration, and operation of AV systems
- Experience working with AV test and calibration equipment
- Ability to support and participate in user acceptance testing
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose complex system issues
- Proven ability to translate technical concepts into clear, value-driven business solutions
- Experience creating accurate quotes and Statements of Work (SOWs) under tight deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including business writing proficiency
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications
- CTS-D certification preferred
