Job Summary
AV Service Technician to solve and troubleshoot audio, visual, controls, and security equipment in residential and commercial locations. Lead Technicians regularly interact with clients while representing the Daisy brand and develop trusted relationships, helping to enhance their lives through technology. Responsibilities include reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, floor plans, specifications, and manuals; managing end-user training, troubleshooting, and escalation; collaborating on problem-solving and installation standards; traveling to various job sites; using hand and power tools; interacting with builders and industry professionals; and daily communication with the project manager about progress. The role operates within a smoke, alcohol, and drug-free environment and emphasizes the company values of Delight, Accountability, Innovation, Service, and You.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years of AV/Networking/Technology Integration Experience
- Control4 Certification
- Motivated to learn new technologies and processes
- Exhibits strong management and leadership skills; capable of leading and motivating others
- Can pass a drug screen and background check
- Possess a valid California driver’s license and access to a reliable, insured motor vehicle
- Able to independently lift items up to 50 pounds
- Capable of sitting, standing, and kneeling for extended periods of time
