AV Project Engineer

Job Summary
Oversee AV architectural drawings, system flows, and cable risers while reviewing Bills of Material and coordinating infrastructure requirements with construction and installation teams. Manage project delivery by identifying change orders, scheduling assigned projects, and communicating networking requirements to client teams. Ensure projects deliver the as-sold solution within budget and on time by monitoring vendor performance, maintaining quality control, and submitting status reports. Liaise with third-party contractors and project managers to interpret client requirements and adhere to Program Management Office standards. Submit reports on project status and initiate corrective actions throughout the lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- Remote and on-site attendance
- CTS
- CTS-I and -D
- Thorough understanding of Audio Visual and Video Collaboration
- Engineering qualification/diploma
- Building and cultivating relationships, utilizing a consultative approach
- High standard of personal integrity & professionalism
- Proficient with Microsoft office suite (Teams, Word, Excel, OneNote)
- Excellent organizational, time management and communication and presentation skills
- Excellent motivation, follow-up, documentation, prioritization, customer service and multitasking skills
- Must have creative can-do attitude, a strong work ethic and the ability to work well with others and build relationships with employees and customers with varying personalities
- Ability to conduct this job from the employees residence, a self-starting and highly motivated approach
- Willingness to attend projects within the Puget Sound area with minimal notice
- Expert experience with medium to large scale commercial Audio-Visual Systems that include: AV Networking + Topology
- Expert experience with medium to large scale commercial Audio-Visual Systems that include: Large flat screen displays
- Expert experience with medium to large scale commercial Audio-Visual Systems that include: Speakers
- Expert experience with medium to large scale commercial Audio-Visual Systems that include: Audio DSPs
