Job Summary
AV Programmer – DOD projects in the DMV region. Role on an AV programming team responsible for planning, developing, implementing, writing, and testing control system code for AV and videoconferencing systems for DoD clients. Requires on-site presence at client locations with travel (CONUS/OCONUS) and the ability to obtain DoD security clearance. Strong preference for candidates with current DoD Secret or TS/SCI clearance. Responsibilities include deploying Crestron processors, building UI solutions and deploying UI on touch panels, and working on APIs. Practical experience with Crestron, Q-SYS, Biamp, SIMPL, SIMPL#, C#, HTML5/CSS3, JavaScript, and networking fundamentals is desired. Certifications from Crestron and other AV vendors are highly preferred. Locations include Reston, VA; Charleston, SC; Savannah, GA with on-site requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to obtain DoD Secret Level Security Clearance is MANDATORY
- Strong preference for candidates currently holding a DoD Secret or TS/SCI clearance

- SIMPL (Symbol Intensive Master Programming Language)
- Audio DSPs
- VTC systems
- Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, multicast, addressing
- Crestron SIMPL# Pro
- C# library for SIMPL and SIMPL+ devices and control systems
- HTML5/CSS3
- JavaScript
- NET framework
- Crestron Certifications (various levels) preferred
- Certifications from Q-SYS, Dante, Extron, Biamp or other AV Technology vendors helpful
