Job Summary
AV Programmer needed to join the AV programming team responsible for planning, developing, implementing, writing, and testing control system code for AV and Videoconferencing systems for DoD clients. Travel to client sites is required (CONUS/OCONUS), with on-site presence at client locations for installation, commissioning, and sign-off. Primary responsibilities include deploying Crestron processors, building UI solutions and deploying UI on touch panels, and working on effective APIs. Must be able to work at client sites and obtain DoD security clearance (Mandatory). Location considerations include Savannah, GA; Charleston, SC; and DMV regions. Strong candidate will have Crestron, Q-SYS, Biamp programming experience, and knowledge of SIMPL, networking, and related AV technologies. On-site role with no remote/hybrid option.
Required Qualifications
- Crestron control system programming (Crestron Silver Certified Programmer or above highly preferred)
- Q-SYS Programming
- Biamp Programming
- SIMPL (Symbol Intensive Master Programming Language)
- Audio DSPs
- VTC systems
- video switching hardware
- Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, multicast, addressing
- Crestron SIMPL# Pro (preferred)
- C# library for SIMPL and SIMPL+ devices and control systems (preferred)
- HTML5/CSS3 (preferred)
- JavaScript (preferred)
- .NET framework (preferred)
- Crestron Certifications (preferred: Crestron Certified Programmer, Crestron Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond; Master Technology Architect; Master Sales Associate)
- Certifications from Q-SYS, Dante, Extron, Biamp or other AV vendors helpful
- Ability to obtain DoD Secret Level Security Clearance is MANDATORY
- Strong preference for DoD Secret or TS/SCI clearance
