Job Summary
Oversee technology operations for the Mountain AV team, providing leadership for event support infrastructure and managing assigned staff and student employees. Configure, operate, test, and troubleshoot audio-visual, broadcast, and live event technology to ensure reliable, professional experiences at Mountain Waves Arena and the upcoming Mountain at Mullin Park facility. Coordinate day-to-day operational logistics with direct reports, campus partners, and vendors while monitoring service tickets and operational data to drive data-informed service improvements. Support high-profile events during regular business hours, evenings, weekends, and after-hours periods as required, serving as the primary resource for urgent technology issues and time-sensitive modifications. Review administrative processes, maintain technical documentation, and hold team members and vendors accountable for established procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Five or more years of experience supporting high-profile live events, audiovisual technology, event production, broadcast support, concert support, information technology, or a closely related area
- Two or more years of experience leading a team
- Experience and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, nights, and weekends
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree
- Possession of Certified Technology Specialist (CTS), CTS-I, CTS-D, Extron, Dante, or comparable professional audiovisual technology certifications
- Familiarity with Extron-manufactured products and associated troubleshooting and maintenance
