AV Lead Technician

Job Summary
Lead Technician responsible for residential pre-wire, programming, and service on luxury smart-home projects; lead installs, troubleshoot, and mentor technicians while coordinating with project managers. Read and interpret residential plans, configure control systems, networks, cameras, and NVRs to deliver premium A/V experiences. Install and calibrate A/V systems, in-wall/in-ceiling speakers, and structured cabling (CAT5/6, coax). Serve as the on-site point person, ensure project documentation and schedules are maintained, safeguard client confidentiality and system security, participate in on-call rotations, and uphold high standards of craftsmanship.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of residential installation and service experience
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or low-voltage certifications a plus
- Strong programming skills with control systems, networks, and residential AV setups
- Experience reading residential blueprints and schematics
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, ability to pass background check
- Security license preferred
