Job Summary
Mid-level AV Installer needed in Saskatoon to perform on-site commercial audiovisual installations, including low voltage wiring, rack setup, projector and screen installations, video walls, and speaker/control system work. Responsibilities include reviewing bills of materials and drawings, reading electronic schematics and architectural blueprints, performing cable pulls and terminations, coordinating with Scheduler/Installs Manager/Account Managers, and traveling overnight regularly. Requires independence, ability to meet tight deadlines, familiarity with AV systems and signal flow, troubleshooting, and adherence to safety certifications. Education/experience notes include minimum 1 year AV integration experience; post-secondary education in electronics or related field preferred; Avixa CTS/CTS-I, Crestron, Biamp, Extron, QSC, Dante training preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of audiovisual integration experience
- Post-secondary education in Electronics, Broadcasting, or a relevant field is preferred
- Industry recognized training is preferred : Avixa CTS, CTS-I, Crestron, Biamp, Extron, QSC, Dante
- Bondable, clean driving record
- Must be able to lift 50lbs and work on ladders and lifts
- Trade certifications: WHMIS, fall arrest, scissor lift and other safety Certifications
- Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints
- Knowledge of low voltage systems and signal flow for audio, video and control
- Must be organized and detail oriented
