Job Summary
Install professional audio, lighting, and AV systems across commercial sites by running, dressing, and terminating cables while mounting equipment safely from ladders and at height. Perform fault-finding and resolve technical issues on customer premises, conducting routine maintenance, PAT testing, and soldering connections using hand and power tools. Maintain high workmanship standards while managing varied projects throughout the South Coast, with occasional evening work, travel, or overnight stays required.
Required Qualifications
- Previous practical installation experience- ideally within a commercial or site environment
- Experience installing cabling and/or containment systems
- Confidence using hand and power tools
- Basic electrical knowledge
- Strong Fault Finding and problem-solving skills
- Soldering ability or similar termination experience
- Experience mounting and installing equipment
- To be comfortable working from ladders and at height
- The ability to work independently or within a team
- A full UK driving licence & Van Driving experience
- A professional and reliable approach when working at customer sites
- ECS/CSCS card
- Occasional evening work

- Experience working as a Fire & Alarm Engineer
- Experience working as a Telecoms Installer
- Experience working as a Technical Installation Engineer
