Job Summary
Pull and terminate cables, install and mount wall rack equipment, and program proprietary devices for clients across healthcare, education, and government sectors. Dress, label, and cut cables while identifying types such as CAT 5, Fiber, and SDI. Troubleshoot complex audio-video equipment and manage inventory of repair parts. Complete daily reports, update project photos, and maintain timecards. Perform 100% travel to project locations in indoor medical settings, adhering to safety provisions and PPE requirements. Earn $25.00-$28.00 per hour with benefits including 401K, dental, and vision.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, technical trade school or equivalent
- Minimum of two years of experience in audio-video integration technical environment
- Proficient with voltage meter, soldering iron, tone generator, multimeter, cable toners, striping cables and network cable testers
- Ability to dress racks
- Ability to read, interpret, and communicate reflected ceiling plans, elevation drawings and room flow diagrams
- Ability to identify and understand various source plates
- Knowledge of basics of AC/D voltage
- Experience with Microsoft Office and ability to use various web-based portals
- Ability to fit into tight spaces including ceiling access panels, closets, interstitial spaces
- Ability to quickly learn new computer programs and operate mobile devices
- Ability to make sound decisions and escalate matters quickly and efficiently
- Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints
- 100% travel to reach project locations
