Job Summary
Pull and terminate cables, install wall rack equipment, and program proprietary devices for clients across healthcare, education, and government sectors. Mount displays of various sizes, troubleshoot complex audio-video systems, and manage inventory of repair parts. Complete daily reports, project photos, and timecards while adhering to safety protocols in indoor medical settings. Requires 100% travel to project locations with a high school diploma and two years of AV integration experience. Salary ranges from $25.00 to $28.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, technical trade school or equivalent
- Minimum of two years of experience in audio-video integration technical environment
- Proficient with voltage meter, soldering iron, tone generator, multimeter, cable toners, striping cables and network cable testers
- Ability to dress racks
- Ability to read, interpret, and communicate reflected ceiling plans, elevation drawings and room flow diagrams
- Ability to identify and understand various source plates
- Knowledge of basics of AC/D voltage
- Experience with Microsoft Office and ability to use various web-based portals
- Ability to fit into tight spaces including ceiling access panels, closets, interstitial spaces
- Ability to quickly learn new computer programs and operate mobile devices
- Ability to make sound decisions and escalate matters quickly and efficiently
- Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints
- 100% travel to reach project locations
