Job Summary
AV Commissioning Engineer for Greater Los Angeles (Virtual/Remote) responsible for testing and configuring audiovisual components in new build conference rooms and providing end-user training to Enterprise Clients in the LA/Orange County market. Will travel to customer sites within the assigned territory; local candidates within 50 miles of Greater Los Angeles preferred. Requires hands-on work with AV hardware and networking, including Crestron, Biamp, Extron, and Cisco equipment; load and debug Crestron Toolbox code, program DSPs for Audio Echo Cancellation, test Crestron Control Panel, install and troubleshoot microphones, speakers, displays, projectors, and associated cables. Must interpret system drawings, perform cable terminations (crimp, solder, fiber), ensure installations meet standards, and resolve technical escalations. Certifications from Crestron, Biamp, Infocomm and OSHA are strongly preferred. Degree in CS/EE or related technical degree preferred, or equivalent experience; 3+ years of relevant field implementation; strong communication, critical thinking, and ability to work both independently and in a team.
