Job Summary
Auxiliary Technician I role provides hands-on support to production operations in a team-based manufacturing environment while following defined procedures and work instructions. Responsibilities include operating production and finishing equipment such as laser systems, vapor degreasers, magnetic finishers, spray wash, vibratory, and electropolish equipment; performing metal finishing and packaging to vendor; completing routers and production documentation; adhering to safety, quality, and GMP requirements; collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve basic production issues; and participating in continuous improvement efforts to support standardized manufacturing processes. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, at least 1 year of GMP-regulated manufacturing experience, ability to follow work instructions, basic blueprint reading, attention to detail, and effective communication. Weekend shift schedule (Fri–Sun) with onsite work in Arlington, TN; remote-work flexibility may apply within role options. Stryker is an equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience in a regulated environment (GMP)
- Ability to follow defined work instructions and produce accurate production documentation
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, procedures, and equipment operation
- Ability to read blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and dependability
- Effective communication skills (written, verbal, and active listening)
- Ability to work weekend shift hours (Fri–Sun) and 40 hours/week
- Team-oriented and able to work in a manufacturing environment with safety and GMP requirements
