Job Summary
Autos Cashier works as part of a retail sales team to provide best in class customer care. This role can grow into Parts Specialist and Retail Sales Lead through product knowledge and strong performance. It requires a proactive selling spirit, the ability to work both in a team and independently to meet the store’s sales goals, and presence during peak traffic periods (weekends, sale days). The Cashier promotes sales and service, adheres to Pick-n-Pull policies, maintains a pleasant, respectful demeanor, and supports store operations with duties such as housekeeping and cash-handling. The position is in an auto salvage yard environment with a variable schedule including weekends and peak sale days. It includes safety responsibilities, training, and potential advancement through the stated path.
Required Qualifications
- Customer service experience, or the ability and aptitude to perform effectively in customer-facing roles.
- Able to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime and at any nearby store location assigned by management.
- Able to read, write and communicate clearly in English.
