Job Summary

Autonomy Systems Engineer responsible for integrating autonomy hardware and software with base machine systems, serving as the engineering interface between L8 Autonomous Hauling Application teams and L6 base machine systems teams. Key duties include ensuring architecture requirements, coordinating with program managers and architects, delivering base machine software changes on time for hauling releases, supporting field data collection kits, and documenting architecture specifications, software design descriptions, verification plans, test cases, operating procedures, and safety procedures. Role involves verification/validation activities, hardware-in-the-loop and proving-ground testing, and contributing to the development of application software and algorithms for robotic platforms. Required skills include SDLC knowledge, problem solving, software product testing, and experience with application development tools, along with domain knowledge of mining/construction industries. Must work onsite at Mossville, IL or Tucson, AZ with relocation support; travel up to 20% and no visa sponsorship. Salary range: $112,710 – $183,140 plus benefits.
