Autonomy Product Lead

Job Summary
Autonomy Product Lead responsible for owning autonomy performance KPIs, field reliability, and release quality for LionsBot Robot Family. Leads a 2–3-engineer autonomy team, triages and closes field issues, commissions deployment sites to specification, signs off software releases, translates field data into backlog items and acceptance criteria, and communicates across RST, customers, and core autonomy engineering. Requires leading field deployment efforts, debugging across navigation, SLAM, perception, and behavior modules, tuning autonomy parameters, and producing incident summaries and risk reviews. Proficient in ROS2, C++, Python; strong written and verbal communication; bachelor's or master's in CS/Robotics/EE or related field; 5+ years in autonomy/robotics with 2+ years in product-facing roles; real-world robot commissioning experience; release sign-off accountability.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in autonomy or robotics software
- 2+ years in a field-facing or product-facing role with deployed robots
- Full-stack autonomy debugging ability across navigation, SLAM, perception, and behavior modules
- Experience owning field issue escalation triage and closure for deployed autonomous systems
- Real-world robot commissioning experience with customer-site deployments and acceptance criteria
- Release sign-off experience with explicit go/no-go accountability
- Proficiency in ROS2, C++, and Python; familiarity with SLAM frameworks, Nav2, and BT.CPP
- Strong communication skills for updates to RST/Product and engineering briefs
- Experience leading a small team of engineers in a delivery-focused environment
- Nice to have: CI/CD regression pipeline experience; background in autonomous vehicles, AMR fleets, or service robotics
