Job Summary
Develop core algorithms for high-precision open-pit mine map auto-updates, integrating perception, change detection, and multi-source fusion to enable real-time vehicle scheduling and path planning. Engineer incremental map update frameworks that automatically identify road boundaries, traffic facilities, and loading zones while correcting sensor noise and topological inconsistencies. Build automated evaluation toolchains to monitor precision, recall, and geometric accuracy, then drive the end-to-end engineering of these systems from research prototype to mass production deployment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Master's degree preferred
- 3~6 years of experience in autonomous driving or high-precision map related fields
- Experience with change detection, multi-source fusion, and high-precision map update projects
- Experience with complete algorithm development, verification, and mass production delivery
- Proficiency in C++
- Proficiency in Python
- Familiarity with Linux development environment
- Proficiency with OpenCV
- Proficiency with PCL
- Proficiency with Eigen
- Familiarity with PyTorch or TensorFlow deep learning frameworks
- Ability to train and optimize image and point cloud models
- Proficiency in one or more of the following: Point cloud processing and registration (ICP, NDT, Feature Matching)
- Proficiency in multi-sensor spatiotemporal fusion
- Proficiency in 3D reconstruction and map generation
- Proficiency in change detection
- Proficiency in autonomous driving map update technology
- Deep understanding of high-precision map data models and production processes
- Familiarity with OpenDRIVE
- Familiarity with Lanelet2
- Ability to extend map semantics for mining scenarios based on standards
- Familiarity with road topology modeling
- Familiarity with lane network construction
- Familiarity with map version management
- Understanding of positioning, planning and control system usage and precision requirements for maps
- Ability to independently design map automatic update technical solutions
- Ability to lead the complete R&D process from requirement analysis, algorithm design, model training, system integration to mass production release
- Good cross-team collaboration and technical promotion capabilities
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with open-pit mine dynamic terrain characteristics and production processes
- Experience with low GNSS coverage and unstructured road environment related R&D
- Experience with crowdsourced map update projects
- Experience with map cloud platforms or large-scale map data processing
- Experience with algorithm service deployment, microservice architecture, and MLOps implementation
- Experience with continuously reducing manual map verification ratios or automated map construction platform construction
