Job Summary
Autonomy Engineer at Neya Systems/ARA to support development, integration, and testing of autonomy software across unmanned ground vehicle platforms. Hybrid position onsite three days/week at Warrendale, PA with remote work on remaining days. Responsibilities include integrating autonomy software with robotic platforms and sensors, bring-up and debugging in lab/field environments, contributing to navigation, perception, planning, or robotic behavior modules, collaborating with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams, documenting and reviewing code, and occasional travel (10–25%) for testing or project support.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. in Robotics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with ROS2 or robotics middleware
- Experience with perception, mapping, or navigation concepts
- Linux development experience
- Exposure to embedded or real-time systems
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
