Job Summary
Autonomy Development Hardware Lead responsible for owning the ATK hardware system end-to-end, guiding technical vision, and ensuring reliable performance in manufacturing and field environments. Lead system-level design reviews, drive rapid prototyping and iteration, mentor hardware engineering teams, coordinate with Product/Program Management and cross-functional stakeholders, and oversee hardware integration across sensors, power, compute, and rugged enclosures. Requires proven hardware leadership, startup experience preferred, proficiency in electrical/mechanical/mechatronic systems, CAD/SolidWorks experience, and strong cross-functional collaboration. Travel ~40% and US-based full-time employment.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience leading integrated hardware project engineering teams
- Startup or small-company experience preferred
- Independent contributor capable in electrical/mechanical/mechatronic systems
- System-level design experience with vehicle electrical systems
- Experience with CAD (SolidWorks) and complex assemblies
- Travel about 40% per month; weekend travel possible
