Job Summary
Prepare vehicles for daily operations by performing startup and shutdown procedures while checking systems, lights, cables, and equipment. Monitor battery charging and vehicle readiness, then troubleshoot basic hardware and software issues using Linux or Unix commands. Record problems for engineering teams, update tickets, and move vehicles safely within the facility to maintain an organized fleet. This role requires a valid driver's license and 1 year of technical support experience, with pay of $20–$24 per hour for a full-time Monday through Friday shift from 4 AM to 12 PM in Austin, TX.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year tech or IT exp
- basic knowledge of Linux or Unix
- Slack, Jira or similar
- able to troubleshoot technical problems
- valid license
- at least 3 years of driving experience
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Full-time weekday schedule
- Monday through Friday
- 4 AM to 12 PM
