Autonomous Fleet Specialist responsibilities include supporting development and production operations for Kodiak’s autonomous fleet, maintaining fleet-related documentation, and assisting with AV system setup. The role emphasizes clear communication across Operations, system management in the Truck Management System, SOP creation, fleet issue monitoring and auditing with technical input to engineering, and requiring comfort with Linux and basic networking. Strong problem solving and organizational skills, plus the ability to work nights and weekends, are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Communicate with multiple Operations team members in an energetic and courteous manner
- Manage and update info within the Truck Management System
- Create and maintain SOP documentation for operations processes
- Develop and improve monitoring and auditing of fleet issues; provide technical insights to engineering team
- Assist with AV system setup including health checks and cross-checks
- Knowledge of Google Office suite (spreadsheets, docs, drive)
- Comfortable with Linux-based systems and basic networking; demonstrate common Linux commands
- Willingness to work nights and weekends
