Job Summary
Experienced Ford Warranty Clerk/Admin responsible for reviewing and completing warranty claims, processing claims by the next business day following RO close, handling claim corrections and charge-backs, maintaining relationships with manufacturer warranty representatives, reviewing every warranty repair order for proper completion and accuracy, analyzing problems and trends to maximize claim efficiency, auditing and reporting on aging schedules and warranties, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. The role includes assisting service consultants and technicians with warranty questions, conducting weekly audits, and participating in warranty training programs to support a proactive warranty process and a positive customer experience.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
- Two years of experience in an automotive dealership
- ASE certification or successful completion of pre-employment test
- General knowledge of automotive parts and vehicle mechanical operations
