Examine and diagnose vehicles, discuss repairs with the shop foreman or service advisor, and provide labor estimates while communicating additional service requests. Plan work in cooperation with the foreman, monitor repair time, and update the service advisor accordingly. Maintain strict adherence to dealership policies on vehicle care and operation, assist in mentoring technician trainees, and attend factory training to stay current with technical bulletins. Follow federal, state, and local regulations regarding hazardous waste disposal. Requires a high school diploma, driver's license, and state inspection license; 1 to 3 months of relevant experience preferred.
