Job Summary
Automotive Title Administrator responsible for stocking dealer trades and processing title work for outgoing trades, re-assigning trade titles, preparing titles for auctions, stocking in all used vehicle purchases, and performing basic accounting tasks. Maintains logs for returned finance contracts, receipts payments and issues checks for dealer trades, maintains assigned accounting schedules and reconciles general ledger accounts, and handles miscellaneous clerical tasks. Requires previous automotive dealership accounting experience, knowledge of title processes, proficiency with standard accounting software, and strong customer service and communication skills. Experience with CDK system preferred. Responsibilities also include maintaining logs, reconciling ledgers, and ensuring timely processing of documents related to titles and trades.
Required Qualifications
- Previous automotive dealership accounting experience is required
- Working knowledge of title processes
- Proficient with standard computer software and accounting software
