Job Summary

Review repair order requests and visually inspect vehicles to determine tire service requirements and materials. Perform tire replacements, minor maintenance, balancing, rotations, and TPMS installations including mounting, inflating, and road testing. Ensure proper weight placement and verify service completion with customers. Adhere to Company Quality Control, Safety, OSHA, and EPA regulations. Requires high school diploma, vocational training, or six months of experience with knowledge of automotive servicing processes and systems software.

Required Qualifications

  • High school graduate, comparable vocational training or 6 months of tire technician experience
  • Must have knowledge of non-technical tire and auto service processes and procedures
  • Knowledge of systems software pertaining to automotive servicing

Desired Qualifications

  • Familiarity with tire and lube requirements and specifications
  • Knowledge of Mitchell Repair and All-Data
  • Knowledge of tire requirements to include use of wheel balancers, tire specifications, Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems and some drivability diagnostic experience
  • Prefer TIA Automotive Tire Service (ATS) 200. Level 300 or 400 level a plus
