Job Summary
Diagnose and repair Lexus vehicles with accuracy, communicating clearly with the parts department and notifying the team leader of delays. Accurately diagnose malfunctions, save and tag parts for warranty or customer requests, and inspect vehicles to recommend additional safety or service work. Document all repairs on service orders with detailed notes, road-test vehicles to verify quality, and return them clean and ready to drive. Stay current with factory technical bulletins, maintain a clean shop, and adhere to safety regulations. Requires standing, stooping, and bending for prolonged periods with physical exertion up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- At least 19 years old
- Valid driver's license for at least 3 years
- Ability to pass pre-employment testing which includes background checks, MVR, and drug test
- Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, and bending
- Ability to exert 20-50 pounds of force occasionally, 10-25 pounds frequently, or more than 10 pounds constantly
- Requires walking, standing, sitting, and operating arm or leg controls at a production pace
