Job Summary
Diagnose, test, and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues while performing complex repairs on engines, transmissions, and suspensions. Execute multi-point vehicle inspections and report findings to service advisors, ensuring all work adheres to brand standards and procedures. Participate in ongoing training programs to advance technical skills and obtain higher certifications. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace while communicating effectively with the service team to ensure smooth workflows. This full-time role in Lincolnwood, IL, requires at least three years of automotive repair experience and ASE certifications.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in an automotive repair setting
- ASE Certifications
- Enthusiasm for learning and hands-on technical work
- Understanding of automotive systems (engine, transmission, suspension, electrical, brakes)
- Ability to work in a team environment, follow instructions, and take direction from senior technicians
- Strong attention to detail, ability to follow procedures, and a willingness to learn and improve problem-solving techniques
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various conditions (indoors and outdoors, sometimes in noisy environments)
