Job Summary
Diagnose and repair vehicles across all makes and models while conducting full, accurate, and honest courtesy inspections. Build experience with domestic and foreign vehicles by troubleshooting customer concerns quickly and effectively within a team environment. Promote high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization while communicating clearly with the service department and mentoring other technicians. Flag 40+ hours per week depending on shop needs, occasionally lifting over 50 pounds and working in tight spaces. Required Qualifications
- Positive attitude and a desire to serve customers
- Leadership ability to manage the workflow of a shop
- 5+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
- Excellent automotive diagnostic skills
- A strong investment in tools
- Ability to Flag 40+ hours per week - depending on shop needs
- Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles
- Strong communication skills and the ability to mentor other technicians
- Occasionally lift and/or move over 50 pounds
- Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
- Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair
- Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools
- Walk/stand for the majority of their workday
- Drive manual transmissions vehicles
- Efficiently navigate a computer
Desired Qualifications
- ASE Preferred
- L1 A-Level Tech preferred
