Job Summary
Diagnose and repair vehicles for guests across domestic and foreign makes while completing full, accurate courtesy inspections. Troubleshoot guest concerns quickly within the service department, collaborating with the team to meet deadlines and deliver distinguished results. Maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization throughout the workday. Seek solutions to tough problems with a positive attitude, utilizing ASE certifications or a plan to achieve them. Work in tight spaces, navigate computers efficiently, and drive manual transmissions. This role offers continuous training up to 30 hours annually at Christian Brothers Automotive, an independent franchisee providing precision auto repair with transparency and integrity.
Required Qualifications
- Positive attitude and a desire to serve guest
- 5+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
- Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles
- Meet or exceed hourly goals
- Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
- Professional appearance and strong communication
- A desire for long-term career development
- Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds
- Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
- Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair
- Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools
- Walk/stand for the majority of their workday
- Drive manual transmissions vehicles
- Efficiently navigate a computer
