Job Summary
Diagnose and repair vehicles for customers using modern diagnostic equipment and factory scan tools. Perform full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections while troubleshooting concerns quickly and effectively. Work as part of a team to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver distinguished results across domestic and foreign makes. Maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization while communicating customer concerns with the service department. Lift and move heavy vehicles in tight spaces, utilizing hand tools and navigating computer systems to complete repairs.
Required Qualifications
- Positive attitude and a desire to serve customers
- 3+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
- Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles
- Meet or exceed hourly goals
- Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
- Professional appearance and strong communication
- A desire for long-term career development
- Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds
- Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
- Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair
- Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools
- Walk/stand for the majority of their workday
- Drive manual transmissions vehicles
- Efficiently navigate a computer
Desired Qualifications
- ASE Certifications preferred, or a plan to achieve
