Job Summary
Diagnose and repair vehicles for customers using diagnostic equipment and factory scan tools. Perform full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections while troubleshooting concerns within the service department. Collaborate with the team to meet deadlines and deliver distinguished results across domestic and foreign makes. Maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization while navigating computers and using hand tools in tight spaces. Work with tools on vehicles lifted above your head and occasionally lift over 100 pounds. Meet or exceed hourly goals as part of Christian Brothers Automotive's precision repair philosophy.
Required Qualifications
- Positive attitude
- Desire to serve customers
- 3+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
- Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles
- Meet or exceed hourly goals
- Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
- Professional appearance
- Strong communication
- Desire for long-term career development
- Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds
- Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
- Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair
- Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools
- Walk/stand for the majority of their workday
- Drive manual transmissions vehicles
- Efficiently navigate a computer
